We recently got our hands on PulseTech’s QuadLink Four-Channel Battery Charger Multiplier ($99.95) and it has become a lifesaver. With the ability to cycle through and maintain up to four batteries, the QuadLink has eliminated the need to constantly swap charging terminals from battery to battery. The QuadLink isn’t a battery charger/maintenance device, it is actually hooked up in line between any 6V or12V battery charger and the batteries to be charged. The QuadLink comes with four eyelet lug adapter cables and four 5-foot extension leads. Once the cables are connected to the battery or batteries, the QuadLink is connected to the battery charger and then the charger can be plugged into an AC power source. The QuadLink will then begin the process of providing a 10-minute charge to the first battery. After 10 minutes the QuadLink will move to the next battery in succession and provide another 10-minute charge, repeating this process for up to four batteries. Then it will repeat the cycle indefinitely ensuring your batteries are properly charged/maintained. A blinking green light indicates which battery is being charged. The QuadLink works with any type of lead-acid battery that is compatible with whatever charger you choose to use. One downfall is that the cables have the eyelet ends, which have to be bolted to the battery as opposed to the quick and easy to use alligator clip style ends. However, aside from being very easy to use and working exactly as claimed, the QuadLink is a much cheaper solution to charging/maintaining multiple batteries than other products on the market.
