04. If you are into having your helmet wired for sound then this is the helmet for you. The N90 comes with a recess in the side for Nolan’s N-Com system ($99), which lets you add Bluetooth capabilities to the N90 without it hanging off the side. The N-Com worked well when taking calls on it, and nobody I called could believe I was on my bike at 75 mph. Most said it sounded better than when listening to a call via Bluetooth in a car. That was the high point of the N-Com, the low was that it’s a bit distorted when using the system to stream music at a high enough volume to hear the music over the road noise. My opinion is this: after riding with Nolan N90 for quite some time, I feel that the helmet’s Italian design not only aids in the good looks, fit, and design of the helmet, it also performs at a top level making it pretty much the Ferrari of helmets at a Fiat price.
