Gripping Goodness I have had a set of PM Renthal Wrapped Contour Grips ($99.99) on The Lonely King since we first threw on a set of Trask Performance apehangers. Once I threw a leg over the newly outfitted bike and squeezed the bars I knew I liked these grips. The PM grips are really comfortable with or without gloves, even on long rides. The comfort lies in the Renthal rubber that is placed over the CNC machined aluminum grip. Renthal is famous for making some killer motocross grips, so it was a good decision by PM to go with a proven winner rather than try and figure out a good rubber formula by themselves. The Contour grips are cozy, but one of the toss-ups of having a soft rubber compound is that they will wear out quicker than a harder grip. Mine didn't do so in an untimely manner, but just be prepared to swap them out about once a year. Thankfully PM has rubber replacements so you don't have to buy the whole grip.
