Paul Yaffe Oem Monkey Bar Install Installed

Yaffe Monkey Bars Suffice it to say; nothing looks cooler than a set of well-crafted Apehangers on Road Glides. What would surprise most is that getting the bars up higher than stock is actually much more comfortable to most riders. We are of the ilk that you shouldn't knock it till you try it, so when our buddy Steve wanted to get high (in the bar department) we agreed to help him out with a set of apes, but which ones?

Paul Yaffe has been making some killer products under the Bagger Nation banner and we have been hounding him for quite some time to get some of his OEM Monkey bars. The 1 1/4-inch bars are 12 inches tall, 33-inches wide, and have a comfortable 6 inches of pullback. With much urging we convinced the Bagger Nation to cut loose with a set of its bars. Paul and the gang at Yaffe Originals also sent a handy Supersize kit with every wire, hose, and extension needed. Yaffe even includes the transmission fluid and heat shrink!

Once we got the bars at the HQ, we opened the box and found the quality of the chrome-plated beauties to be second to none.

We decided to install them on a '08 Road glide to see just how much impact a set of nicely designed bars could make.
