(2.)Before getting started, the lids needed to be washed with soap. It's a good idea to wash your hands too-you don't want greasy fingerprints preserved under the film forever.

(4.)After a liberal dousing of both the lid and the film, the film was peeled away from the backing and laid on top of the bag. The solution helps the film slide around for easy positioning. It's important to keep it wet during the install.

(5.)Once the film was positioned on the lid the squeegee was used to remove excess fluid and air bubbles from underneath the film. Wet is the key here to avoid scratching the film. Once the bubbles were removed, the edges were treated with the squeegee and followed by the MAtech towel to remove the remaining moisture. Then repeated for the other bag lid.

(6.)Here's a final shot of the saddlebag lid with the invisible MA applied on top. It looks factory fresh, covers existing scratches, and is protected for years to come.
