Protect Your Ride
When we first came across this product from Motorcycle Armor (MA) we knew immediately we wanted it. The company's Lid Tops is a clear film that prevents scratches and dings on the tops of H-D saddlebags. The precision cut polyurethane sheets not only protect into the future but also hide existing scratches and scuffs that almost every bagger (at least those well ridden) has. The film is easy to apply and has a lifetime warranty.
The company's website demonstrates what an intentionally scratched saddlebag lid looks like after application of the MA. This stuff just plain works.

The solution helps the film slide around for easy positioning. It's important to keep it wet during the install. | (5.)Once the film was positioned... (5.)Once the film was positioned on the lid the squeegee was used to remove excess fluid and air bubbles from underneath the film. Wet is the key here to avoid scratching the film. Once the bubbles were removed, the edges were treated with the squeegee and followed by the MAtech towel to remove the remaining moisture. Then repeated for the other bag lid. | (6.)Here's a final shot of... (6.)Here's a final shot of the saddlebag lid with the invisible MA applied on top. It looks factory fresh, covers existing scratches, and is protected for years to come. |
