Cyclevisions Illumabezel And Hotop Designs Lower Fairing Support InstallSome people think the Road Glide is ugly, but we here at Baggers have a special place in our hearts for the shark-nosed bagger. This project `08 FLTR has had a battery of improvements done to it over the past few months and it finally came time to give the bike a little streamlining. We wanted to take off the OE engine guard but realized that the fairing had no support if we just removed it. A call to Drag Specialties was made and we scored a Hotop Designs lower fairing support bar to make the engine bar deletion an easy one. While we were at it, we wanted to further smooth out the front of the bike. A turn signal relocation was in order. Looking for alternatives to the rather bulky original signals, we checked out CycleVision's website and found just what we were looking for. The Illumabezel is a replacement headlight cover that has LED running and turn signal lights built in. Once the products hit our tech center, the install was as straightforward as could be, and if handled by two people, could be tackled in a few hours time.
