8R Harness Boot
A shorter harness boot with more of a flair for fashion, the 8-inch harness boot sports the same O-ring, straps, and studs that the 12R has. Other creature comforts include cushioned shock-absorbing memory insoles and durable Goodyear welt construction.
Liberate Shock Absorber
The H-D Liberate boot looks like a tactical boot and features a combination full grain leather and mesh upper with a handy inside zipper. The sole is a lightweight and flexible polyurethane midsole with rubber construction. We liked the feel of these boots mostly due to the ShockAbsorber twin pad comfort technology Harley employs on it.
Release Shock Absorber
The Release is a full grain Wellington-style leather upper with a mesh lining and removable, dual-density polyurethane footbed. To comfortably rack up the miles while wearing these boots, H-D uses a PVC solid sole with its ShockAbsorber technology.
Super Duty 3
The third-generation Superduty street boot features a premium-grade leather with upper internal ankle protection and a midfoot stabilizer strap with an aluminum buckle. Though this boot is not for every rider, it looks good and rides great.
Black Tec-Tuff WK4845
Since 1879 Justin has been making quality boots and the Tec-Tuff series is no different. Using an ber durable Work Tec rubber material on the upper, this pull-on boot is waterproof, steel toed, and both OSHA and ASTM Int'l approved.
Bandera
The only true Cowboy-style boot in the guide, the Bandera looks great while riding your iron horse, but has all the technical attributes you would expect in a H-D riding boot. It features a full-grain leather upper with full cushion sock lining and an oil-and slip-resistant sole.
Accelerant
Looking more like an Air Jordan than a biker boot, the Accelerant redeems itself with a 100 percent waterproof design that can be walked in with all-day comfort due to the ultra-comfortable midsole and full steel shank for support. It's also one of the lightest boots in the review.
6-inch Lace-R
One of our rider's favorites was the 6-inch Lace-R wedge-soled work boots. Both durable and comfortable, this all-leather upper clad boot has an 18g steel toe. Positive floorboard contact was found with the Lace-R's light traction, non-marking wedge soles that feature goodyear welts.
988
Redwing has been supplying the working masses with boots since 1908, so its motorcycle boots fit the bill to a tee. The 988 has the classic engineer look while the full-grain, water-resistant black upper leather and Laramie Vibram TC-4/344 with Chemigum-heeled sole keeps constant contact with the bike and terra firma under all conditions.
Vintage Road Boot
The name says it all! The Vintage is an affordable boot constructed out of water resistant leather with a lowered and reinforced toe box for improved shifting. The boot interior is lined with soft pigskin leather with an easy entrance stretch gusset and has chunky oil-resistant, anti-slip rubber sole.
Stivali Canyon Gore-Tex
This Italian-made wonder boot bridges the gap between cruiser and street boots. Constructed of leather that is water and oil repellent with an inner liner of Gore-Tex, this waterproof boot has an ingenious Velcro flap system above the ankle and adjustable strap system for easy entry and fine tuning of fit.
Response SC
At first look the Response SC was not our cup of tea, but due to the construction, and comfort it proved its worth as a fully-functional motorcycle boot. The boot can easily be worn all day in any type of weather thanks to the durable waterproof leather upper with waterproof King Tex internal membrane.
Stivali On Road Gore-Tex
A taller cruiser boot than the Canyon, the On Road has leather construction, a Gore-Tex membrane with a full length inner gaiter as well as a rigid nylon innersole with removable arch support and padded shin plate. These boots are expensive, but worth every penny.
