Boots see the tarmac day in and day out with hardly ever an issue until something goes really wrong. When the tragedy happens, one is left trying to find a replacement and rather quickly. We here at Baggers have been through this experience and in the process of trying to find just the right boot, we invited the world's best boot makers to send us their cream of the crop. In this buyer's guide, we have work boots, biker boots, and some really cool looking non-category boots that we think you will like no matter what style you prefer.
Combat, Cross, Deviant, and Dragon Boots
All the Affliction boots are based on the same dependable chassis that feature a leather upper and an 8-inch height. The bottoms of the boots feature a heavy rubber sole with 1-inch heel together with custom metal fleur. The major differences in the styles are the logos, inlays, and heel detailing.
Ridge Waterproof Black
Famous for road racing and motocross boots, Alpinestars spares no expense in constructing this waterproof cruiser boot that does a tremendous job rain or shine. A great boot for on the open road and in the city, the Ridge also features a specially formulated sole for grip on and off the bike.
A true biker boot that is constructed out of an oiled full-grain leather upper with full- length zipper and a waterproof membrane. The left boot also features a bullhide leather shift guard. The sole is made from Ariat's Duratread compound and has metal mount peg rests that allow the boots to hang comfortably on highway pegs.
A cool looking and comfortable square-toe pull-on boot with an 11-inch height, the Rambler has a full-grain leather foot and shaft with a double-stitch welt and Ariat's Duratread outsole for toughness on or off the bike.
The quintessential bike boot, the Classic is waterproof and guaranteed to keep your feet dry. The upper is constructed from top grain leather with expandable gussets and chrome plated buckles. The rider-designed sole will let you ride and walk comfortably for miles.
This tough steel-toe Wellington-style workboot has an industrial quality 10-inch upper with an abrasion-proof nylon lining and removable orthotic insole. The sole of the boot is constructed with a Goodyear Storm Welt and is ANSI 75 Steel Toe/Electrical Hazard certified.
A no-nonsense steel-toed slip-on boot, the WD9910 is great for the price and features a real leather upper and triple-stitched straps. The sole is not too aggressive, yet very grippy and features shock and oil resistance.
Trader Moc Toe
The Trader is a trendy looking moc toe workboot with a full-grain leather upper with a six-eyelet lacing system. This casual 6-inch boot can withstand days in the saddle at a time due to its cushioned insole and slip-resistant rubber outsole.
With the rising popularity of crepe-soled workboots for riding, we found this to be a great boot to work all day and ride all night in. The 6-inch high, oiled leather upper with a durable Christy wedge outsole also comes with a removable orthotic insole.

This classic 11-inch high square toe harness boot does a great job both cruising the highways and walking the streets. This boot also features a leather upper and an ankle strap with metal stud detail, a cushioned insole and a tough oil-resistant outsole.

We loved this tough-as-nails made in the USA logger boot, which has a Vibram lug sole with stacked leather heel for extraordinary traction. Other features include a greasy leather upper with rounded toe, cushioned shock-absorbing memory insoles, back pull strap, and durable Goodyear welt construction.
