Badlands Illuminator Install
Upgrading a bagger's rear lighting is a great way to be seen and add a bit more safety to your bike. Many companies are offering brighter tail light kits, but some require splicing wires or practically a total re-wire of the system. The Illuminator from Badlands is a plug-and-play module that solves the cut and splice issues. Inside the Illuminator box is a sophisticated processor that turns stock taillights and turn signals into three running lights that, under braking, turn to three brake lights. Also, if one turn signal is in use, the opposite signal still stays as a running or brake light. The Illuminator has a built-in load equalizer so you can run your stock bulbs, halogens, LEDs, or a mixture of them all. Along with the installation of the Illuminator we also chose to upgrade the signal bulbs to Radiantz LED puck lights that come with a set of Chris Products red turn signal lenses. Thanks to Badlands now we, as well as those driving behind us, have seen the light. Hallelujah!
