It is no secret that we here at Baggers don't care for Harley-Davidson's chosen license plate location on its late-model touring bikes. We just think it looks out of place above the fender and grown tired of scraping our boots and bending the plate when mounting our bikes. When the Street Glide was introduced in 2006, it came with a nice-looking under-the-taillight license plate mount which we have been retrofitting our bikes with ever since. The parts are quality in both fit and finish as you would expect from Harley-Davidson. They require only a little know-how and a few handtools to install.
