Renegade has always been known to have some of the nicest motorcycle wheels on the market, and with their new series of Elite multipiece wheels, they have shot to the top of the heap.
The wheels are constructed out of three separate billet aluminum pieces and are bolted together with the highest-quality 12-point chrome bolts situated every inch around the entire wheel.
When we began looking at just which of the Elite series of wheels we wanted for our project Road Glide, we decided on a set of 21x3.25-inch front and 18x4.25-inch rear Phoenix wheels, which feature chrome centers with gloss black outers.

When we picked up the wheels, we could not believe just how complete they came from the factory. The matching Phoenix 11.8-inch rotors and pulley with Renegade's proprietary billet cush drive system were all preinstalled and tightened to factory specs along with a set of Metzeler's best rubber. The finish quality of the Elite wheels is as first-rate as any other motorcycle wheels we have ever seen and compare to the high-end multipiece wheels found on Europe's most exotic cars.
Installation was one of the easiest wheel swaps we have ever done due to all of the work Renegade puts into making sure when a wheel set is ordered, it comes with all the proper hardware and spacers needed to remove and replace the old with the new.
There is of course a premium price to pay to own such a high-end set of wheels. The price tag of the total kit cost us close to $5,000 for the complete rolling and ready-to-go package. We find it to be well worth the price if you want nothing but the best for your bagger. B
