The big daddy of the Road Glide models, the CVO Road Glide Custom sets itself apart by having a big motor, three killer color combinations, and a rather large price tag.
What does the $30,699 price tag get you? Well, how about a Screamin’ Eagle outfitted 110ci motor that puts out 122 lb-ft of torque and just about every chrome and performance tidbit that Harley-Davidson’s Parts and Accessories group could ever throw on a bike. Hell, it even comes with a Harmon Kardon 100-watt-per-channel sound system with its own 8GB Apple iPod Nano free of charge.
With all these creature comforts and shiny stuff, it still may sound like an expensive pill to swallow. Trust us, if you bought a standard Road Glide at $19,994 and tried to do this yourself, it would cost much more than the extra $10,705 the MoCo is charging you for a taste of the high life. So consider it a deal.
In next month’s issue we will be road testing one of these sweet machines, so stay tuned for a complete tip-to-tail Road Glide rundown.
