Enrique Figueroa is a Texan born and bred. Growing up in the Lone Star state he was in love with three things: Cadillac automobiles, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and the Dallas Cowboys football team.
A while back, Enrique came out west to Southern California either chasing a dream or a woman, nobody actually knows. In the process, he wound up sacrificing everything but his affinity for the aforementioned to live on the Left Coast.
Fast-forward a few years and the transplanted Texan was having a conversation with some close friends regarding motorcycles and they all came to the agreement that the Road Glide is the Cadillac of bikes due to its ride quality and good looks. Wanting a Harley his whole life but not being able to swing the dollars for one in his younger years, Enrique finally got up the gumption to pull the trigger on a brand new bagger and strolled into Santa Barbra Harley-Davidson. After looking at a few Road Kings he spotted himself an '08 Road Glide outfitted in blue and silver. With the flick of a pen he rolled out with the Caddy of Harleys.
Two childhood loves down, one to go.
Once the bike was at Enrique's home he began to envision the future customization of his new motorcycle and thought to himself "I have seen what seems to be a million Raiders' themed bikes, I should build a Cowboys bike." With the seed firmly planted it was up to Enrique to see the transition to fruition.
While on the way to building his two-wheeled tribute to America's team, he decided to have the folks at Santa Barbara H-D install a Screamin' Eagle 103ci kit with Vance & Hines Fuel Pak management and a set of the company's True-Dual Oval pipes. While the bike was in the shop, Enrique gathered up a set of 21 and 18-inch Renegade wheels with Metzeler rubber, Arlen Ness wrap around front fender, and a set of Matrix Cycle Works extended saddlebags and rear fender cover. The bodywork was then taken to JR customs for paint where the OE blue and silver theme continued, but JR added the Cowboy's signature star on the rear of the fender. Some of the trickest custom work was the usage of the small, yet bright Billet Boys LED license plate frame that does the job of the run, brake and turn signals. Up front the smoothness continued with the CycleVisions Illuminator, which also replaced the dangling OEM turn signals and placed them next to the headlights.
When we first saw this bike, the two things that stood out were the mirrors and seat, which were custom made by none other than Enrique himself. The mirrors, though small, do the job just as good as a set of trick billet units, but look a ton better tucked into the fairing where it meets the Klock Werks windshield. The seat really stands out due to the style of it as well as the pleating and fabric Enrique used when constructing it.
With the bike completed and seeing major highway duty, all three of Enrique's loves as a boy are now all rolled into one two-wheeled dream machine.
