Custom 1952 Triumph Twin - Glitter Cycle Photo Gallery
1952 Triumph Twin Left Engine View
Notice how the gas tank has been flared into the frame head and front downtube. Added custom metalwork is also seen on the rear forks ahead of the tire, where the sheetmetal gussets give a smooth appearance. Finned rocker covers and overhead oil line manifolds are products of Webco. For an oil tank, a steel cylinder now bolts in back of the seatpost tube. Instead of footpeg and kick-starter rubbers, there are bright plastic knobs. The whole exterior of the ported, relieved powerplant has been chrome-plated, down to that last nut and bolt. The owner has since converted the cycle over for street use. We can't blame Larry a bit-it just looks too inviting to put on a pedestal. Sidestand, maybe?
