News Flash...every month we get a few emails from readers asking if we can list their poker run or bike show in the calendar. We always say, “Yes, send over the info and we would be glad to.” However, there is a catch: to make the newsstand in time for your event, we need to get the info at least three months ahead of time. If you want us to post your event info, we need time to do so. E-mail any info to baggersmag@sorc.com

Milwaukee Rally
Milwaukee, WI

Happy Labor Day, everybody. As America’s workforce gives itself a long weekend in early September, a lot of those folks will celebrate that through riding. As well they should. In Harley-Davidson’s birthplace, that means three bike nights at three different places, one of which is the Harley-Davidson Museum. Above and beyond the normal fun found at any good bike night, four local Harley dealerships are joining forces to make this event possible and they’ll be raffling off $1,000 gift certificates at each bike night. Concerts, vendors, riding, street festival, and more. It should be a fun excuse for a road trip to Harley central.

Bull City Rumble
Durham, NC

Before you threaten to torch my house, yes, we know this event isn’t centered around all things bagger. We listed it because every once in awhile it’s good to show something completely different, and a vintage scooter/cafe racer get-together certainly qualifies. It celebrates the spirit of the ’50s to ’70s English cafe racer and scooter culture. Many vintage as well as modern-retro bikes and scooters will be on display to the public, while several rides will showcase the fact that these machines are all ridden. Stylish vintage bikes and scooters as well as great music, food, drinks and fun await attendees.

Summertime Bikes & Blues Festival
Freeport, TX

Seven years after it started, this yearly shindig keeps growing. This year, there’ll be a sizable lineup of blues bands but you’ll also see a CCBC car show and an IMBBA bike show to boot. There’ll be plenty of daily contests and a fireworks show on Saturday night. The schedule even has a triathalon. When was the last time you saw that at a bike event?
