Biker's Choice has two bolt-on Drop Seat kits available to fit H-D's Touring models from '09 - '11.
The two versions are the Standard and the Narrow, and both lower the seat height by 3in without changing the bike's suspension or stock ride height. The kits include a gloss black powder coated, fully-assembled rear frame section, battery box, black anodized billet aluminum fuse box, turn signal module mount, two new battery cables and all necessary hardware. Custom seats and side panels are needed to complete the kit. Once the kit has been installed, the fender, fender struts and saddlebags remain at the stock height and location, only the seat area drops.
The Standard kit is described as being suitable for riders 5ft 7in and taller, while the Narrow kit is more suitable for riders 5ft 6in, and due to the tapered design of the seat allowing the rider's legs to go as directly to the ground as possible.
