Once again, Olive Crest pulled off a very succesful Cruise 4 Kids Motorcycle Ride on Sunday, October 12th. In fact, this 5th Annual installment was the best yet and total attendance ran well into the thousands.
The ride is held each year to raise funds for Olive Crest's work with troubled and orphaned children.
The ride began at Olive Crest's Santa Ana, California facility and continued on to the Boeing parking lot in El Segundo, California, where the majority of the riders who participated registered for the ride. There were bands and lots of good food available at the Boeing lot, but the fun had only just begun.
After leaving the Boeing lot, riders were led to the CBS Studios in Studio City, California in groups and were given a police escort all the way to the studio lot. Once there, people had the chance to mingle with LA's Sheriff Baca, and celebrities such as Perry King. Attendees were allowed to stroll about the entire lot and a few of the key sound stages were open to those how wanted a better look at what goes on behind the scenes of their favorite television shows.
Next year's event will surely be much larger and just as much more fun will be had. The best part is that it is all for a great cause -- supporting Olive Crest in their effort to help steer children with problems in the right direction in life.
Hope to see you next year. For more information check www.olivecrest.org
